Marion County Clerk Steve Fox says his office will be open from eight to noon the next two Saturdays for early voting ahead of the November general election.

Those who wish to vote early should enter through the east side security door of the courthouse and come to the second floor.

You can also vote early Monday through Friday from eight am to four pm at the clerk’s office up to election day.

Fox says both vote by main and early voting look like they will fall short of the last Presidential election in 2020.   So far 1,056 of the 1,815 vote by mail applications have been returned.  There were 2,200 who used vote for mail in 2020.

So far 1,667 have cast early votes.  In the 2020 election, 4,565 cast early votes.
