Centralia is among the communities holding Trick or Treat on Friday evening.

Mayor Bryan Kuder is wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween and Fall Festival weekend.

The downtown trick or treating will be on Friday October 25th from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. For additional safety there will be no thru traffic allowed in the 100 Block of South Locust Street or the 100 or 200 Block of East Broadway during the event.

Rasback from Elm to Poplar will be closed from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. for trunk or treat hosted by Lifestar Ambulance.

The city-wide trick or treating will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Residents that do not wish to participate are asked to follow the common practice to turn off their porch lights.

Other groups and organizations that are also holding trick or treat events include:

  • Centralia Library Books-for-Treats 3:00pm-5:00pm
