Christ Our Rock Runs Well At Chester Invite

The Christ Our Rock Silver Stallions Boys Cross Country Team placed 3rd at The Chester Invitational this afternoon out of 13 teams represented.

 

Lady Stallion Sr. Rylee Brammeier continues to impress as well with a 3rd place overall finish in the Varsity Girls Division today in 21:28.

 

The Chester Invitational is broken down into Freshman/Soph and Varsity Division, however all runner are still given an overall place to determine the team scores. Soph. Carson Pigg lead the way with a great race finishing 6th overall (16:59) and 3rd place in the F/S division. After a tough race in which he fell last Saturday at Freeburg, Sr. Zerek Koch had a strong bounce back race for the Stallions finishing 11th overall (18:00) and had a Top 5 finish (5th) in the Varsity Division and medaling! Soph. Wyatt Gregory had a solid performance again today for The Stallions finishing 16th overall (18:26) and 8th in the F/S division securing a meet medal. Sr. Isaiah Lyons helped The Stallions secure 3rd place on the day with a strong 31st place finish overall and a Top 20 in the Varsity Division (18th-19:32). Fr. Cameron Jones rounded out the scoring for CORLHS, lowering his time from an unsatisfying race in his previous meet, placing 51st overall and 24th in the F/S division (21:06). Soph. Liagel Lyons finished 65th overall and 32nd (23:10) in the Varsity division, while Fr. Jeremy Jansen was 75th overall and 38th (29:39) in the F/S division.

 

The Stallions and Lady Stallions will run again on Saturday at the Trenton-Wesclin Invitational.
