Two Odin men have now been formally charged in Marion County Court with burglary and theft for allegedly entering a building in the 500 block of Gilliland Road in rural Walnut Hill and taking items.
36-year-old Jeffery Skibinski of Queens Avenue had the public defender appoint to represent him during his first appearance in court. He was released on pre-trial conditions pending a November 12th preliminary hearing.
60-year-old Richard Atchison of DeWolf Street in Odin was charged with the same two offenses. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Friday.
The burglary and theft allegedly occurred on September 18th. The theft charge is a felony against Atchison due to a prior theft conviction in Marion County. The theft charge against Skibinski is a misdemeanor.
