Mathew Lynn Dubson, 30 of Clinton died September 22, 2024, in Springfield Illinois Born April 21, 1994, in Bloomington Illinois to Mark R. Dubson and Chrisphine Frericks.
He is survived by his father, Mark of Clinton. His mother Chrisphine and stepfather Leonard Van Houtin of Salem. his siblings Michelle
Dubson of Decatur, Jeremy Dubson of Decatur, Ashley Guzman of Salem, Kayli Van Houtin of Bel Rive, Morgan Van Houtin of Centralia and Christian Van Houtin of Salem. His grandmothers Vicki Dubson and Donna Reynolds of Clinton and Lisa Frericks of Crawford, Georgia, his grandparents Louise and Bill Bachmann Salem. His uncles Brian and Ben Dubson of Clinton and Alvin of Dubson Florida, Christopher Frericks of Florida, David Jr. of Frericks, Indiana, Steven Frericks of Opdyke Illinois, Dwayne Frericks of Georgia, Theodore Frericks of Georgia and Jimmy Bliss of Peoria, Jerry Jr., John, and Tony Van Houtin of Salem. His aunts Krissy Bennet Robinson , Michelle Martin of Danville, April Crawford of Morris, Crystal Daniels, and Natasha Frericks of Georgia. Several nieces and nephews. His special friend Karrigan who loved him even with his flaws His special adopted aunts Orilla Polen, Kim McGuire and his special adopted Uncle Rick Gharrett.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Benjamin Dubson, David Frericks, and Jerry Van Houtin Sr. His niece Arabella Mock and his Aunt Dora Dubson.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Clinton at a later date. He will then be taken to Salem Ilinois and placed to rest.
