The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a second man in connection with a burglary and theft at a rural Walnut Hill home last week.
Jeff Skibinski of East 15 in Centralia is charged in connection with a burglary to an outbuilding at a home on Gilliland Road and the theft of items from the yard. The owners reported a door to their home was also damaged during an attempted to get inside.
He was being held in the Marion County Jail pending a first appearance in court.
The sheriff’s department earlier arrested 60-year-old Richard Atkinson of North DeWolfe Street in Odin for burglary and theft. He was released pending further court action.
