Billy Engler, 56, of Salem passed away on September 12th, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born February 17th, 1968, to Ira and Joyce (Jean) Engler in Salem, Illinois.
He is survived by his loving wife: Tammy Engler; six children: Whitney Ritter, Riley Ritter, Adam Engler, Joseph Engler, Matthew Engler, and Noah Engler; six grandchildren: Heaven, Nevaeh, Clementine, Chris, Asiaiah, and Acaeone; four sisters: Joyce, Vickie, Kimmy, and Misty; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; along with his special friends Terry Wimberly, Tony Casner, and Roy Boy.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Ira and Joyce Engler
He loved going fishing, spending time in the outdoors, and professional wrestling, but what he loved more than all was spending time with his family.
