SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia welcomes wound care & hyperbaric oxygen therapy expert Alicia Santel, APRN-CNP. Alicia is a certified Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience, primarily in wound care. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and is trained in treating acute and chronic hard-to-heal wounds. Additionally, she has experience in trauma step-down, neurosciences, orthopedics, nursing home and assisted living care, at-home care, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Alicia addresses wound concerns including but not limited to burns, chronic and non-healing wounds, wounds associated with diabetes or compromised circulation, pressure ulcers, radiation wounds, skin tears, negative pressure dressings, and semisynthetic skin grafts.
Alicia also specializes in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wounds that are resistant to routine care, and wounds associated with diabetes or compromised circulation.
