A 17-year-old Kinmundy juvenile girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly posting on social media a threat towards South Central High School.
Marion County Sheriff Kevin Cripps says an outside agency that watches for threats contacted the sheriff’s department which then followed up.
He reports the juvenile admitted making the threat, but indicated she had no intent to follow through on the threats and didn’t appear to have the means to do.
The juvenile was later released to a parent pending any action in Marion County Juvenile Court.
