A 21-year-old Salem man escaped serious injury when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle on North Hotze Road northwest of Salem.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Robert Altom was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Joshua Roberts of Texico Lane in Salem.
Reports indicate Roberts took Altom home where emergency medical services checked his injuries. Altom then declined hospital treatment.
The crash occurred at 9:19 Wednesday night.
