The occupants of both vehicles involved in a crash on Route 37 at the Walnut Hill Road refused hospital treatment late Tuesday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say the crash occurred when an eastbound car driven by a 16-year-old female juvenile pulled from the stop sign on Route 37 in front of a southbound pickup driven by 18-year-old Bryson Landreth of Texico.
Both drivers and a 15-year-old passenger in the juvenile’s car signed refusals for treatment with ambulance and Kell Fire Department first responders on the scene.
The Salem Fire Protection District was initially called for mutual aid but were canceled before reaching the scene.
The crash occurred at 4:18 Wednesday afternoon.
