Ameren Illinois has announced a planned electrical outage in the area of South College and West Lake Street in Salem early Friday morning.
About 170 customers will be without power in the area of South College and West Lake from midnight to four am where a pole will be replaced and equipment upgraded.
Ameren will have crews in place early to speed up the process as much as possible.
