A double-wide mobile home in Centralia has been heavily damaged by fire.
The blaze was at a home occupied by Jason Coleman at 709 East Sixth.
Centralia Fire Chief Jeff Day says light smoke was showing as the first truck arrived on the scene. The fire was centered in the kitchen area but got in between two roofs on the home and then was able to get away from the firemen.
No one was home and firemen removed a dog and cat. They along with Lifestar Ambulance personnel provided CPR to try and bring the pets back, but they were unsuccessful.
Firemen believe the fire was electrical in nature as it started in an area with electrical outlets that were not working.
The home is owned by a trust headed by Cydney Richardson.
The fire call came in at 6:45 Friday morning, with firemen on the scene until just after nine am.
