The Salem Bobcat varsity boys team closed out their season at the Cape Southern spring shootout going 0-1-2, tying Massac Junior High 2-2 and the home Cape team 3-3 and falling to Poplar Bluff 3-2.
Caid Davis and Maniel Shrestha scored vs Massac, Kayne Rhines had the brace vs Poplar Bluff and Noah Gaston and Nicklaus Kahtz scored vs Cape along with an own goal by the home side on a Caid Davis corner kick.
John Hahs played outstanding in net all three games, Noah Gaston and Gage Patton had standout tournment play all weekend along with several other bobcats.
