Salem Police arrested 33-year-old Nathaniel Ramirez of Lamar Street in Salem for alleged domestic battery. He was taken to the Marion County Jail until a first court appearance anticipated for Monday afternoon. Police say they were called to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 1400 block of North Trenary where Ramirez had allegedly struck another family member in the face.
