The prep girls 1a soccer post season is in full swing. Over the weekend in regional semifinals at Columbia, the host Lady Eagles shutout DuQuoin 13-0 and will play Murphysboro in the finals after their 4-0 win over Pinckneyville.
At Father McGivney, Wesclin and Central were tied 2-2 at the end of both overtimes and Wesclin pulled off a 2-1 win in Penalty Kicks to advance to the finals where they get McGivney after their 7-0 win over Maryville Christian.
In 2a regional quarterfinal play on Saturday, Olney lost to Charleston 3-2.
