The Historic Locust Street Fair in downtown Centralia will feature a large number of activities and vendors on Saturday.

Centralia Community Development Director Gayla Harting says events along South Locust Street will run from ten am to two pm.

“This year we have at least 40 vendors set up and then we have 16 food vendors either trucks or tents.  This year again we will be doing the trolley ride out to Elmwood Cemetery.  Those come from the Museum at the south end of the event and they will run this year at 11:30 and 12:45.”

Harting says a unique band will be returning this year.

“New this year but actually they were here the very first year for Elmwood Speaks will be the Independent Silver Band.  They are back this year and playing at the Museum from 11-2.”

Harting says there will also be a Classic Car Show and a display of Antique Tractors from Antique Power Days.
