Dog house destroyed by fire in Salem

By News Oct 30, 2020 | 10:35 PM

The Salem Fire Protection District was called early Friday morning to a dog house on fire.

The fire was at a home occupied by Charles Easley and owned by Anita Williams.

Heat lamps being used in the dog house apparently started the fire.
It was discovered at 5:30 Friday morning.  The owners were able to knock the fire down before the fire department’s arrival, but the building is said to be a total loss.

No other buildings were threatened.
