After 4 years as Rend Lake College men’s basketball coach, Brian Gamber recently resigned from the position. Gamber turned in his resignation on Friday. The Warriors ended the year with an 8-23 record. Gamber currently serves as Woodlawn’s Dean of Students and is in his 2nd year in that position. Gamber took over the program in early May 2020 and guided the program through the Covid Pandemic. Gamber said he’s open to returning to the basketball coaching ranks in the future.
