The prep baseball season starts next week as the Salem Wildcats open up Tuesday afternoon at home against the Mount Vernon Rams. Salem will also travel to the Metro East for two games next weekend at the PBR Showcase.
The Lady Wildcats softball team starts their season Tuesday at Triad before going to Benton Thursday and then competing in the Fairfield Tournament next weekend.
