Police Beat for Saturday, December 16th, 2023

A 26-year-old Salem man is being held in the Marion County Jail for investigation for possession of a stolen vehicle.  Edward Kinney of Salem Mobile Home Park was reportedly found in a car taken from Salem early Saturday morning in the 500 block of Mine Street in Sandoval.  The car had not been reported stolen at the time Sandoval Police located Kinney.   Sandoval Police also arrested him for possession of drug paraphernalia and gave him a notice to appear on that charge.

30-year-old Katelyn Woolever of North Howard in Salem was taken to the Marion County Jail by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery following an incident that occurred in one of the west side motels.

34-year-old Micah Sensel of Airport Road in Centralia was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for a probation violation.

38-year-old Shannon Hicks of South Pruyn Street in Salem turned herself in at the jail on an outstanding Clay County traffic warrant.  She was later released on $300 cash bond.
