Leonora Garrison, 98, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 7:39 a.m. October 31, 2023, at Mount Vernon Country Side Residential Living Center in Mount Vernon. She was born February 23, 1925, in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Leonard and Mabel (Buescher) Yandell.
Leonora is survived by her daughter, Raylene Seramur of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Diane, Julie, David, and Carolyn Seramur; great-grandson, Andrew Seramur; and niece, Susan Rogers.
In addition to her parents, Leonora was preceded in death by her son, Ernie Greg Garrison.
Leonora was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Bud Storey officiating. Inurnment will follow. Memorials may be made in Leonora’s honor to Epworth United Methodist Church.
