David Belmont, 72, of Centralia, passed Friday, August 18, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary Hospital in Centralia.David was born January 17, 1951, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Charles Belmont, Jr. and Helen (Green) Belmont. He married Teresa Mancinelli on March 17, 2006, in Mt. Vernon and she survives.In addition to his wife of 17 years, Teresa Belmont of Centralia, three sons: Josh Belmont and wife Diane, Michael Belmont and wife Kaysie, and Matthew Belmont; eight grandchildren; two sisters; Peggy and Cindy; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Helen Belmont, three brothers: Tommy Belmont, Billy Belmont, and Sonny Belmont, and a sister: Donna Belmont.David worked at Walgreens Distribution Center for several years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dahlgren, Illinois. David loved spending time with his family and friends.Per David’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 1:30 pm at the Ruritan Building in Bluford, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, which is honored to be of service to the Belmont Family.
