The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats are in action today after having the weekend off when they travel to Effingham.
Selmaville is at Central City today coming off 2 wins over the weekend. The Lady Rockets beat Carlyle 11-6. Keira Meredith struck out 9 and scattered 6 hits. She added 2 hits along with Alana Finney and Samara Simmons. Alana Howe scored a pair of runs as did Shelby Johnson.
The Lady Rockets beat Bethel 17-5. Talya Gowler got the win striking out 8 holding them to 3 hits. Simmons had the only Selmaville hit as they inherited 16 walks and 6 hit batsmen.
Also today, the SC Lady Falcons are at Altamont and due to the forecasted temperatures they will start with JV innings at 6pm and the main varsity contest will be at 7pm.
