The Selmaville Rockets opened up their baseball season with a 16-6 road win over Field. The Rockets scored 9 runs in the third inning to put the game away. Nicholi Marhanka and Logan Butts each finished with 4 RBI for the Rockets. Tripp Garden drove in a run along with Jacob Butts and Carter Shanafelt. Jaxon Ward singled and scored; Isaac Knapp also had a hit and scored twice. The Rockets also got hits from Walker Crank with Drew Consolino scoring twice and Izac Holsapple also scored. Ward was the winner going 2 innings of no-hit ball with 4 strikeouts. Marhanka and Logan Butts worked the other 3 innings.
