Lady Falcons Open Season With Dominant Win Over Sigel

The South Central Lady Falcons opened up their middle school softball season yesterday with a home win over Sigel-St Michel 12-2.

The Lady Falcons opened with 3 runs in the 1st inning and 3 more in the 2nd before scoring 6 more in the 3rd to take a 12-0 lead and never look back.

Maddie Peddicord went 3 innings allowing 0 hits and 0 runs with 6 ks.  Addy Ruholl went the other 2 innings.

At the plate, Peddicord had 3 hits including a double and triple with 4 RBI Baylee Brown, Claire Chasteen and Kennah Hiestand all had 2 hits.  Annie, Addy and Emmie Ruholl all had a hit.

SC returns to action tomorrow with a pair of home games against Dieterich and Ramsey.
