South Central School District has announced the first day of practice for fall sports.
The first practice/tryout for high school baseball will be at Lions Field in Kinmundy on August 7th. New players and freshmen should report at five and returning players at six.
For high school volleyball, the first practice/tryout at the high school gym will be August 7th from 3 to 6 pm, with tryout results from 6 to 6:30 pm.
Middle School Softball’s first practice/tryout will be on July 24th at Webster Field in Kinmundy from three to five, with a parent meeting at five pm.
Middle School Baseball will have its first practice/tryout at Farina Park from five to seven on July 31st, with a parent meeting at seven. Please wear appropriate baseball attire-hat, pants, glove, etc.
In order to try out and practice, an up-to-date physical is required and proof of insurance.
Before the first game of the season, the athletic handbook form must be signed and returned as well as the $40 athletic fee.
