The Salem City Council Monday night will be asked to support a resolution to support Broadband internet for all residents and areas of Marion County. The Marion County Board is seeking support from other governmental units as it makes a push for funding to bring broadband internet to all areas of the county where it is not currently available.
The council will consider the replacement of a commercial gas meter that provides service to Radiac Abrasives at a cost of $25,000. The current meter has a leaking seal system that prohibits repairs. The upgraded meter from Ultrasonic Meter doesn’t have the same moving parts and would not require lubrication.
The council meeting begins at six Monday night at Salem City Hall.
