The Salem 10u All Stars opened up District play at Olney last night with a 13-3 rout of Lawrenceville. Salem scored 4 times in the bottom of the first inning erasing an early 2-0 deficit, before adding 2 more in the 2nd, another in the 3rd and six runs in the fourth inning.
Maxsen Tiemann and Nolan Krutsinger combined on the no-hitter with Tiemann going 3.1 striking out 7.
Krutsinger and Lewis Eddy drove in 2 runs each as Krustinger doubled twice. Izac Halsapple added an RBI along with Teimann, Weston Crouse and Easton Henson. EJ Wolfe scored twice and singled, Easton Keller scored a run along with Grayson Purintan. Lucas Howe scored twice along with Maddox Lograsso.
Salem will advance today’s semifinal at 6pm against Olney with the winner playing in Monday’s championship and would have to lose twice. The loser today will drop into tomorrow’s elimination game at 7pm. The 8pm elimination game tonight will feature Mt Carmel and Lawrenceville.
