A 35-year-old Salem man has been arrested following a non-injury hit and run crash at the Green Street Road and Odin Road south of Odin Wednesday night.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say 64-year-old Josephine Massey of East 13th had stopped on the Green Street Road to make a left turn onto the Odin Road when she saw a vehicle behind her not slowing down. The vehicle driven by 35-year-old Amodo Bolonos-Gonzalez of South Lincoln in Salem ended up sideswiping Massey.
When Bolonos-Gonzalez did not stop, deputies say Massey followed him to a home on Wortby Street in Odin. That’s where he was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 8:42 Wednesday night.
