#2 seed Salem Tire won the Major’s Softball Tournament knocking off top-seed Marion County Savings Bank 5-3 as both teams end with identical 10-4 records. In the win, Katee Sellers went 4 innings only allowing 3 runs on 2 hits striking out 7. Riley Potter drove in Baylee Brown in the first inning to score the first run of the game. 3 more runs in the 2nd inning on hits from Baylee, Katee and Riley again scoring Brylee Carter, Trisha McKenzie and Sellers. Kiera Meredith struck out 8 in the loss. She also hit a triple and scord 2 runs. Kenley Cripps added a hit and Gracie Long scored a run.
