A 58-year-old Sandoval woman escaped with only apparent minor injuries Thursday afternoon after her car struck the CN railroad underpass on Old US 51 in Junction City.
Kayla Webb of Oak Street told Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies she was southbound on Old US 51 when she was temporarily distracted while trying to re-fasten her seatbelt which came unhooked, overcorrected, and hit the underpass.
Webb was checked on the scene by emergency medical personnel and indicated she may also seek medical treatment on her own.
The crash occurred at 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
