The Salem JV Wildcats split their home double header with Breese Red. Salem won the opener 10-0 in five innings. Eli Lograsso had a hit, 2 RBI and scored 3 runs with Keytin Grawe, Avery Gullion and Aaden Rostance adding RBI. Payton Gullion was hit by a pitch and scored, Carter Lowe scored twice, Brendan Smith tripled and scored, Max Vincent also had a run and Alijah Carroll singled and scored. Brody Collier earned the complete game win allowing 1 hit and striking out 3.
In the nightcap, Salem fell 8-6 as Salem made 4 errors leading to 5 unearned runs that cost them the game. Payton Gullion singled, drove in a run and scored twice, Brody Collier drove in a run along with Grawe, Jackson Green and Rostance. Lograsso scored. Grawe started and got threw 3 innings. Avery Gullion worked the final 7 and the pair combined to strikeout 10 and scattered 6 hits.
