The Salem JV wildcats lost to the Carlyle Senior Legion last night on the road 9-7. Salem trailed by 6 in the top of the sixth, but plated 4 runs in the inning to put them right back in it. Brendan Smith had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs with RBI also from Brody Collier and Colton Rogers. Eli Lograsso was 3-3 with a run and RBI, Carter Lowe scored along with Evan Barnes and Aaden Rostance, Jackson Green had a hit and Max Vincent scored. Vincent was the starter, he went 2.1 innings allowed just 2 earned runs, Smith worked the next 2 innings allowing 2 earned runs and Jackson Green got the final 5 outs. The JV will open up the Carlyle Senior Legion Tournament tonight.
