Little League: Rotary Punches City Series Ticket…Softball Takes Center Stage At Complex

At the Little League Complex in softball Majors, it was Radiac beating Salem Tire 10-4.  Emily P was the winning pitcher striking out 8 and allowing just 2 hits.  Emily P, Talya G and Jorja E all had a hit.  Addie Dled the way with 2 RBI.  Rylee W and Talya G also drove in runs.

In girls coach pitch it was All State beating Fabick 19-7.  Julianna Rushing had 4 hits and drove in 8 runs to lead All State.  Abbi Haines had 4 hits and drove in 5, 3 RBI from Adalyn Reynolds, 2 from Kennedy Thompson and Alexis Henseler also drove in a run.

In Little League Majors it was Rotary over Somers 9-0.  Zane Applegate struck out 14 with no walks.  Colton Tockstein took the lost but struck out 9.  Tockstein singled at the plate, Emit Gibson had 2 doubles.  For Rotary, Kai Graham had a single, Matt Carter 2 singles, Jared Crompton had a hit along with Davion Garrison.  Applegate had 4 singles.  The win clinches a spot in the City Series for Rotary that will be played the final week of June.
