The South Central School Board has reorganized and said goodbye to a 24-year member.  Ann Blomberg was thanked for her years of dedicated service.

Three board members were sworn in for four-year terms.  They are Tyler Neilson, Danny Hiestand, and Rob Jones.

The board acted on a number of personnel issues.   The resignation of Carrie Reed was accepted at the end of the school year.  They approved a letter of retirement from Jane Miller effective at the end of the 2026-27 school year.  Bethany Lane was hired as the district bookkeeper.   Ryan Kappler and Sara Beth Williams were hired as certified staff.

The board also made a number of appointments.  They are Kendall Burleyson as middle school volleyball coach, Shane Lother as Senior Class Sponsor/Choir Sponsor, Danielle Chasteen as Freshman Class Sponsor, Amanda Guerrattaz as Junior Class Sponsor, and Kara Schukar as Marching Band sponsor.

A new John Deere tractor was purchased from Riechmann Brothers for district use.
