The Salem Lady Cats will get their final tune up this regular season when they host Flora before opening up their 2a Regional also in Greenville next week opening up Tuesday afternoon.
South Central knocked off Wayne City 15-2. Kinlee Thompson drove in 3 runs along with Abi Shuler. SC got 2 RBI each from Jaylyn Michel, Taegan Webster and Amelia Montes. SC is 20-9 on the season and will play tomorrow at the Richland County Tournament.
OPS beat Vandalia 21-3 to improve to 18-6 on the season. Trista Moore hit her 10th and 11th home run of the season knocking in 5 runs. Hailey Lane had 2 hits including a 2 run shot. Carmen Wilderman and Amiah Wallace had 2 hits each. Macey Spicer earned her 12th win of the season in the circle. OPS will travel to Altamont on Monday.
Highland beat Central 3-0. Claire Albers, Makenna Budde and Julianna Huber had the 3 hits for Central.
Mount Vernon fell to Goreville 7-1.
Richland County shutout Centralia 7-0.
