Puricelli Heading To State For Salem Track

The Salem girls track team competed at the Mascoutah 2a Sectional yesterday.  Freshman Finley Puricelli is heading to state.  She finished 2^nd in the 400m in a time of 1:01.06 to punch her ticket to next weekend’s championships at Eastern Illinois University.  Puricelli also was 4^th in the high jump.

She along with Kinsey Jarrett, Gracy Alli and Avery Robinson were 6^th in the 4×100 relay in a season best time of 52.21.  Mollie Walker was 5^th in the shot, Aila Laird 6^th in the 800m with a PR of 2:34.35.
