At the Little League Complex in Majors play, Schmidt Ford got a combined no hitter from 2 pitchers in their win over Larimer Abstract 14-0. Owen Tennyson and Tanner Purintun combined for the no-no. Tennyson finished driving in 5 runs at the plate going 3-3 with a triple and home run. Robert Petrea and Jacob Butts also had multi-hit games from Schmidt.
Rotary shutout Security Alarm 8-0. Jared Crompton was the winning pitcher striking out 16 in 5.2 innings of work. Kai Graham had 2 hits with a triple, Eli Purdy doubled, Crompton had 2 hits along with Davion Garrison, Zane Applegate doubled and Matt Blackburn had a hit. Benny Bryan led Security Alarm by striking out 8 on the mound and had 3 hits at the plate. Myles Donoho added a single.
In softball play, Salem Tire beat Somer Real Estate 12-2. In the win, Katee Sellers was the winner with 8 strikeouts. Kaolin Lewis had a hit along with Kloi Spencer, Riley Potter and Sellers. For Somer, Maxlyn Maciejowski had a hit and Zetta Graham and Ashlyn Jamison scored the 2 runs for Somer.
In girls coach pitch last night it was All State beating Max Dye 9-1. Alexis Henseler, Abbi Haines, Arabella Hudspeth and Adalyn Reynolds all had 3 hits. 2 each from Julianna Rushing, Skylar Gasto, Emerie Cluck and Amelia Westman.
