The prep girls 1a soccer post season continued last night. At Marquette, the hosts shutout Gillespie 12-0 and Carlinville over Staunton 2-1. Father McGivney won at home over Maryville Christian by forfeit. At Roxana, Althoff big over Wood River 13-0 and the Shells shutout Metro East Lutheran 7-0.
Today in prep soccer regional semifinals, Breese Central will take on Breese Mater Dei at Father McGivney. In Murphysboro, the hosts take on Mt Carmel followed by Gibault and Massac County.
