The South Central Cougars went 0-3 at the Centralia RBI Tournament over the weekend. On Friday, SC lost to Wesclin 6-5. Aidan Dodson doubled home a run, Chase Thompson had 2 RBI. Ethan Watwood took the loss going all 6 innings.
SC fell to North Clay 2-1 as the Cougars made an error in the 7th inning that led to the unearned run to tie and eventually fall. Calaway Smith drove in the only SC run. Dodson deserved better going all 7 innings allowing 3 hits and no earned runs with 13 strikeouts to only 1 walk. He threw 83 pitches, 63 for strikes.
SC fell to Centralia 11-0. In the loss, Dodson had 2 hits, Zane Montes had 3 with Brody Markley also adding a single.
