For Coach Elizabeth Barnett and the Salem Lady Wildcats, the season has been one of learning. With several bright spots along the way, the Lady Cats now know where and when their post season will begin.
They will be competing in the Father McGivney Class 1a Regional, but will play host to the first game that will feature the 7th seeded Lady Cats hosting 8th seed Maryville Christian on Saturday, May 6th at 11 a.m. at FCC Fields. The winner will advance to the Tuesday, May 9th match against the 2nd seeded hosts. The other semifinal at McGivney will be 3rd seed Mater Dei taking on 5th seed Breese Central on May 10th. The championship will be on Friday, May 12th. The Lady Cats currently sit at 3-10-1 on the season.
