Salem Falls In 9 At Johnston City
Salem fell to 13-3 on the season with a road loss to Johnston City yesterday 5-4 in nine-innings. Lilly Blagoue was fantastic striking out 5. Olivia Paulson hit her 5th home run of the season. Breanna Thurman had a triple and scored, Maya Susmena and Nat Lee drove in runs as well.
SC Rolls Past Ramsey
The SC Lady Cougars improved to 13-5 with their 17-1 win at Ramsey. Ella Watwood was the winning pitcher. Jaylyn Michel had 3 hits including a double and drove in 4. Taegan Webster added a double and home run for her 4 RBI. Brooklyn Garrett added a single, double and 2 RBI and Kinlee Thompson added 2 hits and 2 RBI. SC is scheduled to play at Vandalia today.
OPS Stays Hot With Blowout Win
The OPS Lady Eagles knocked off Webber 15-0 to improve to 12-4 on the season. Macey Spicer had 3 hits and drove in 4, Hailey Lane had 2 hits, while Trista Moore singled along with Lauren Robb, Jaida Andrews, Rheagan Rollinson, Kenzie Wilkerson, Gwen Belcher, Carmel Wilderman, Bella Pearce, Maddie Garrett and Amiah Wallace. OPS in action today at home against Clay City.
