Lady Cats 13-2 With Blowout At Breese
The Salem Lady Cats improved to 13-2 on the season with their 14-2 win at Breese Central. The Lady Cats busted out 4 homers on the day with Olivia Paulson going deep twice with long balls also from Breanna Thurman and Lilly Blagoue. Lilly was the winning pitcher striking out 11. Natalie Lee added a 2 run triple and Marah Johnson drove in 2 on a double.
The JV lost 14-2. In the loss, Kale Benjamin hit her first career homer. Jaelyn Keller and Anna Duffy had a hit each.
SC Bounces Back With Shutout Win At CHBC
Today the SC Lady Cougars will be in action at Ramsey. The Lady Cougars are coming off yesterday’s 8-0 win at CHBC. Taegan Webster gave up just 1 hit in the win and struck out 14. At the plate, Abi Shuler had 2 hits and 3 RBI, Kaitlyn Swift had 2 hits including a double and 2 RBI. Webster also drove in a run. Jaylyn Michel had 2 hits with a double and Brooklyn Garrett singled. SC is 12-5 on the season.
OPS Lady Eagles 11-4 Overall Heading To Webber Today
OPS Lady Eagles return to action at Webber after a 15-0 win over Wayne City. OPS improved to 6-1 in MTC play and 11-4 overall. Hailey Lane, Lauren Robb & Macey Spicer had 2 hits each to lead the offense. Rheagan Rolinson joined Tristan Moore, Jaida Andrews, Kenzie Wilkerson, Carmen Wilderman and Gwen Belcher all with hits. Spicer was the winning pitcher.
