Lady Cats JV drop a tough one 11-4 on the road to Newton. Bria Murray and Mia Bookhout were good on the mound. Jaelyn Keller was 2-4 on the day driving in 3, Alivia Rasul, Kale Benjamin and Bria Murray all had hits.
The Salem Lady Wildcats will host the battle for the top spot in the Cahokia Conference when the Lady Midgets of Freeburg come to town. Salem is 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in the Cahokia. Freeburg is 9-1 overall and 2-0 in the Cahokia. Game time at 4:30 at Tully Park.

SC also got singles from Kaitlyn Swift, Taegan Webster, Emily Rose, Abi Shuler and Amelia Montes. SC falls to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in conference play as they head to Altamont today.
- Odin/Patoka/Sandoval dropped their first game of the year falling to 5-1 on the season losing to 9-0 Carlyle 10-6. Trista Moore had 3 hits and Macey Spicer had 2. Lauren Robb, Hailey Lane and Amiah Wallace all added singles. Sophia Hoffman had 2 hits including a triple for the Lady Indians. OPS travels to Grayville for MTC play this afternoon.
- Christ Our Rock beat Cisne 13-1 at home. Peyton Jett surrendered just one run on three hits striking out eight. Alayna French had 2 hits including a double. Kylie Nalewajka and Lily Cain each doubled. Sophia Lurkins and Elizabeth Britt added singles. Christ Our Rock plays at Wayne City today.
- Makenna Budde hit a walkoff, two-run homer to lift Breese Central past Okawville 2-1. Cece Toennies and Adelyn Kuhl had the other two hits for the Lady Cougars. Alyse Monken struck out five in the win.
- Mater Dei beat Hillsboro 15-0. Audrey Clark with the win. Maddy Huels with 2 hits as Mater Dei improves to 8-0.
- Nashville fell to Anna Jonesboro 18-0.
- Columbia beat Piasa 9-4.
