The Salem Lady Cats dropped a heartbreaker at home to Waltonville at Tully Park 8-7 in 9-innings. Lilly Blagoue hit her 3rd home run of the season. Marah Johnson tripled for her first varsity hit and Olivia Paulson drove in 3. Maya Susmena and Bre Thruman also added an RBI. Salem is 5-1 on the season and will return to Cahokia play today when they travel to Columbia.
The SC Lady Cougars dropped their home game to St Anthony 13-2. Katilyn Swift single home a run along with Jaelyn Michel. Brooklynn Garrett also singled along with Abi Shuler and Ameila Montes. SC is 2-1 on the year and 0-1 in the NTC as they return for a home game today with Neoga.
