The Central District/Region 24 Men’s Basketball Tournament opens up today with a pair of play-in games ahead of Monday’s quarterfinals. Shawnee will host Lewis & Clark tonight with the winner playing top-seed and 2nd ranked John A Logan at 1pm Monday in the first quarterfinal.
Kaskaskia College will open up Monday at 3pm as the 5 seed against 4 seed Olney Central College. 2nd seed Vincennes will play at 5pm against the winner of tonight’s other game featuring Lake Land hosting Lincoln Trail in the 7/10 matchup. The final game Monday night will see 3rd seed SWIC playing #6 Wabash Valley.
The semifinals will be on Wednesday with the championship and a ticket to Hutchison played next Friday. The tournament is hosted by Rend Lake College.
