The Altamont Indians rallied from a 20-point deficit in the 2nd half to beat Casey 61-59 in the 1a Sectional semifinal at Altamont. For the Indians, it’s their first sectional victory in the school’s 112-year history of boys basketball. They advance to play on Friday against tonight’s winner between St Anthony and Tuscola.
Also in 1a, Webber Township beat Gallatin County there 41-39 and will play tonight’s winner between Wayne City and Meridian. At Calhoun, Gibault advanced with a 66-59 win over Payson Seymour and will play the winner of Springfield Calvary and Madison.
