The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating some weekend burglary and theft cases.
The department received a report of a shed being broken into in the 22-hundred block of Paul Road in Salem. The alarm system was reportedly ripped down and a pickup truck was stolen. The sheriff’s department reports the pickup was recovered in another county before the burglary was reported at 1:35 Saturday afternoon.
The sheriff’s department is investigating a possible burglary at a mobile home where siding was ripped off in the 1800 block of County Farm Road in rural Kell. The dog at the residence also got out.
The sheriff’s department is also investigating goose decoys being stolen from a field in the 300 block of Wisher Road in Patoka.
