Need help filing your taxes? The Illinois Department of Revenue is offering some free resources.
Spokesperson Maura Kownacki says there are a number of programs across the state offering free tax help. Here’s a few:
“The IRS volunteers pack assistance program offers free tax help to individuals making $60,000 a year or less. The AARP Foundation tax program provides free tax assistance for those over 50 years of age and you don’t have to have a membership to receive assistance.”
